Just wondering. In the case of festivals like Burning Man where the theme changes every year is that needed at Dreamtime? Or are we focusing more on the green aspect continuously? If nothing else we could come up with some sort of subtheme yearly, maybe, and encourage more people to bring costumes and dress all crazy if they want. Because I know costumes and the such are encouraged but especially for people who have never been, a theme might give them a bit of a better understanding of what Dreamtime is all about. I dunno, just my two cents.

Wed, April 23, 2008 - 1:40 PMYes , I do believe that Dreamtime does have a changing theme every year.. It's more based on bringing an energy from differnt animal or rather insect totems. For example, last year was about Transformation thru the Dragonfly transforming into a Butterfly.. I would like to suggest that this year be the Hummingbird, for the Hummingbird keeps it's energy until the very right moment and then the Hummingbird finishes the Job and of course, so much more.. < and I think the year before was the Dragonfly totem, being the main theme for Dreamtime.. I also liked the "Come as your Totem" masquerade party and possibly this could be encouraged for the event , for all to come and display the totem that they feel most connected with.. So I like it..
